So I’ve pretty much always liked Furr’s...until today. To be fair, I had never been to this location before. But if it had been my first time at a Furr’s in general, I would 100% not be going back, and after this visit I might not be anyhow. Pretty much *all* of the food seemed to be old - or at least very far from fresh. I understand that to prevent food waste/cost they don’t want to refill the trays until they’re almost empty, but shouldn’t there be some time limit on how long the food can sit out there? And also why would you *very* obviously put the old/wilted food back on top of the fresh food? It makes the food you put on too look THAT much worse. No one in my dining party had a single thing that tasted good, or even a little fresh. It was very disappointing, especially considering it was my brother’s first time at Furr’s. I honestly probably wouldn’t have written this review based on this one experience alone though. Except for the fact that I’m now dealing with all the symptoms of food poisoning, and an hour later so is my husband - probably because we eat pretty much the same stuff. Glad my brother didn’t. BUT my 9 month old did eat some of the same stuff as I did, so I’m praying that he is okay and doesn’t start feeling this way and showing these symptoms, because I am NOT wanting to hang out in the ER tonight.

My top place for delicious Buffet food. Filled me up in no time. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. Prices are reasonable I would say. Feeling here is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I liked.

My favorite spot for tasty Buffet food. Visited about four, it was not full. Definitely worth a return trip. The bill was good for what you get. Mood here reminds me of San Diego's scene.

They have lots of variety and they keep rotating the food to keep it fresh and hot. The servers are always attentive. Much better than goldencorral. They offer a discount for all military and veterans every Monday. I think it was $7.49 for the early bird special from 1 to 4 p.m. which includes the full Buffet and a drink.

Came here while waiting on discount tire around 4 in the afternoon. 13 bucks per adult. It was our first time ever at a Furr’s and we were very disappointed. Staff were waiting around running down the clock talking about going home and uninterested minimum wage kids. We had to find our own silverware to eat with, they didn’t bring us any. All the food was way over cooked and dry. I tried the steak which was beyond well done, fish that way dry, pizza that was very bland, sweet potatoes were okay, veggies and steamed rice were fine I guess. Long story short, save your money. 30 bucks would get a decent meal at the Applebee’s on the other side of discount tire that is also walking distance. This place was pretty bad.
